House clearances can be required for various reasons including bereavement, moving, downsizing or simply just a change of decor. Whatever the reason, we offer a reliable ,friendly, respectful, professional and sympathetic service.

Whilst many items such as furniture will of course be re-sold and find new homes, we understand that we are often dealing with cherished items and treat them with respect. Furthermore we take specific care to ensure that items or information of a personal nature are either returned or destroyed.

In the modern age with a host of electronic gadgetry, we ensure where necessary that all such items are fully cleansed of any data as part of our service. Failing this (due perhaps to system locks or passwords) we will destroy items beyond recovery.

We will always complete the job and whilst we cannot redecorate for you, we will so far as possible, leave properties in a completely empty and tidy state.

Depending on the contents of the property, sometimes we need to charge to complete a house clearance. This is usually because a significant proportion of the items are not re-saleable and will require disposal. This includes items such as old matresses and old / damaged white goods.
